I had just purchased a Dell lap top for my husband’s small business. Had been working maybe 2 weeks on it. This message started flashing in red that I had malware and computer was going to shutdown and to call immediately Microsoft number listed in screen. I did. And $4500.00 later and 5 months later Dell support helped me and I have discovered as a 66 year old retiree I have been scammed by PC Logical LLC and Harry Jones. I don’t know how to tell you how stupid I feel. I worked in government for 20 years and I didn’t catch the fraud. My gut went “hmm” and should have listened the first round of $4000.00. Then 3 months later we needed “virtual memory” little did I know they took space of my c drive and created a “f” drive labeled virtual memory. At the price of $450.00 and a check copy scanned to them with “nothing to be written in the memo of the check” pay Attention people. Don’t be like me!
I have been robbed and didn’t listen to my gut. The internet had a link with their company name out there the night I was speaking to them before I sent the $4500.00 and they were “legit” and I don’t know still how that happened. Now I look at their name and all you see is scam! Guess criminals cover their bases. As a retired person trying to make ends meet I hope they pay for their crime! People call your “known” security…Microsoft
