Type of a scam Sweepstakes/Lottery/Prizes
I have received 2 voice mail messages during December 2017 from a Patrick that I have won the Holiday Cash Giveaway. He says to return call at 1-877-672-0940, ext. 335. His number comes from 1-844-393-5678. He said "you have won $25,000 in cash and that an official entry form has been submitted in your name (he never says what my name is)." To my knowledge I have not entered my name in any contests. He said it may have been entered at a mall, event I may have attended or a restaurant. I googled this phone number and found many others have received this call and some have tried to call the number back. They have not reached Patrick nor has anyone received the $25000 that I could find. One person that called it back reached a child who did not know any Patrick. I didn’t return this call as this appears to be a scam.
