Type of a scam Employment
I got an email from a name "Patricia Barrera" supposedly a lawyer from Turkey, and that someone found my name on Indeed.com, the position was for a regular admin, to work from her home at first while she settled in to this city, then eventually have an office to work out of. I thought well, the hours were good, flex hours, and pay was fine, what rubbed me wrong is that they were going to to back to Turkey to collect their family. I am an immigrant and if you immigrate, you don’t ‘go back’ to collect things, you do that prior to leaving after being accepted by the country. Something wasn’t right.
I told the person, Patricia Barrera that I doubt that I was a fit, even though I was competent for the skills. Then, I got an email back telling me that they wanted to ‘secure my position’ to work for her, and ‘PREPAY’ my wages. Okay, that just is too weird, so I contacted Indeed.com told them about it, they couldn’t figure out who that may be, and I also contacted BBB.org and they were quick to tell me not to say anything more, which I hadn’t responded a second time, thank goodness!
Be aware, this is a scam, and if you see anything like this block it from your emails.
I wish we could catch them wherever they are and put them behind bars where they don’t inflict any more bad things on humanity.
