The initial call was from a guy named Leslie, and he said I owed a debt to some payday loan that I had never heard of from back in 2012. If I didn’t pay, I would be sent to summons to court for fraud. Of course I panicked and made payment arrangements. Today, I got a phone call saying my payment was declined and that they would "see me in court". Coincidentally I saw 4 unauthorized charges to my bank account, and the banker told me that there was a flag put on my account for possible fraudulent charges. Thank goodness! They also called my work and left a voicemail.
