Type of a scam Healthcare/Medicaid/Medicare
There is a company that calls themselves "Pain Resource management"- they get info on Medicare patients and they send fraudulent scripts to Dr’s offices to get the Dr to agree to a back brace, then attempt to bill the patient for the brace. They obtain the patients info illegally and contact their Dr’s illegally- its a fraud company- they do not list their address- I only have the phone number and fax number. They even state that one of their Dr’s has seen the patient and given them a full physical, at which point they state pt is in need of a particular brace- in this case a back brace.
