Paid Castings

Initially when they first came out it was $5 per casting. After a couple months and having his account shut down and building another. He’s claiming to charge $1 for me to apply to a paid casting. I asked why not just take it out of my check when I get paid, he gave me some sorry excuse as to why. I asked where he got my info from knowing I didn’t apply on no website, he claimed he didn’t know being that he just uses a data base computer and they send him ppl. Screamed scam from the moment he called to the text he sent. The text had “!?” Symbols every few words. I just blocked him.

I was emailed by the company paid castings initially. Then it moved to texting my phone. I asked the person to identify themselves, they did as Leo. They marketed modeling job casting calls that I could apply to for $5 each. He sent the invoice and I realized it could be a scam. When asked to show credibility of the casting notices, Leo refused to do so stating I am not forced to believe him or obligated to use his service, which he claims has been around for 10 years. I called Leo and spoke over the phone, expressing my uncomfortability with sending him money without credibility or reviews. I asked if my agent would be able to speak with him, and he refused. I asked for his last name and he refused to release the information. He then threatened to blacklist me to all casting directors (although it was clear he had no legitimate connections to them). I reached out to models on his Instagram page and discovered he had used some photos without permission. It’s very sad if it is true that he has been having models pay him money for castings for 10 years, thinking they’re applying for legitimate jobs, when he is pocketing the money.
