We purchased a dog online through a facebook. We used private messages to communicate the process and even used secured transaction. We were promised the dog the next day. We arranged to meet and pick up the dog and pay the rest of the money we owe for the dog. Then we get a text message….not a FB message….that the seller had a family emergency in Arkansas and she had my dog with her IN ARKANSAS. Then told us that we had to pay for our dog to get on a plane, which was $150.00 (shipping cost), and that amount would be deducted from our remaining total owed. So we agreed and asked for pictures of the dog with her……no pictures were sent, but instead we were told that she dropped of the dog to Express Ship Airlines so the dog can make it to us that same day. She informed us she no longer had the dog in her custody. Then we get blind sided with a phone call from this airline stating that we need to check our emails. So we did and it stated that we needed to pay 1,500.00 to rent an electronic ventilated F1 Crate for the plane: $1350.00 for the F1 Crate plus $150.00 for the vaccines = the $1500.00. 95% of that was refundable, which is $1425.00. We didn’t like this but we went ahead and paid. The airline gave a tracking number stating the puppy would arrive at our house a 4:00pm. We called the number and the same guy answered and we promised us that she will arrive right on time and at 4:00pm our time, which was 2 minutes at that time….4:00pm rolls around and NO PUPPY and NO MONEY REFUNDED. We call the airlines back and the same guy answers and that he promised us that everything was fine and we needed to check our emails. He also told us that we needed to hurry and check our emails. At this point, we got a very sick feeling in our stomachs realizing that this could be a scam. We checked our emails. No emails were sent from this airline. We called back and he didnt answer so we texted that number stating we did not receive any emails from them. He then responded back saying to check our "spam folder". At this point I knew we were scammed. So we check the spam folders and sure enough, there it was, another email from this airline. But this time, It had SPAM in red across the top. The email stated that they made a mistake and somehow the puppy did not get on the plane because they now needed the health insurance for the puppy which cost additional $1,900.00 but he reassured us this money was 100% refundable. We told him that we did not have any more money. We were flat broke. The airlines insisted that we pay or the puppy will stay at the airport in the crate until its paid. Then we were told that if the puppy ends up at that airport over night, then they will turn us in for animal abandonment, and the airline will "see us in court the very next day." We text the seller and screenshot all of this information to her and told her this was all on her. We informed her that we had no more money, and that we did not agreed to her taking my puppy across state lines, and that since she was capable of putting our puppy in that situation, that she was fully capable of taking that puppy out of that situation. She begged and pleaded with us saying she doesnt have the money and we needed pay and that we would get it all back. We told her and the airlines that if the puppy was put in that situation by the BOTH of you ( the airlines and the seller) then you BOTH need to get the puppy out of that situation by simply canceling the entire flying option. Then told the seller to go back to the airport and get the puppy and cancel this whole thing. The airlines then told me that the puppy was in "Puppy detention" until that 1900.00 was paid and if they keep the puppy in detention then they will "See us in court." We informed that we, along with our lawyers, are looking forward to seeing them in court tomorrow morning….as they (Express Ship Airlines) threatened before.

My partner and I were purchasing a puppy from a “breeder” . Once I made my deposit the breeder ghosted me for a whole 24 hours and then when she got back to me she said she wouldn’t be able to deliver the puppy herself and that she would send the puppy via delivery agency. The agency was very unprofessional and lacked in communication skills. They asked for 1150 for a crate to ship the puppy in. They told me that it would be refunded once to the deliver was made, when i sent the money they ghosted me for hours making it seem like my puppy was in the process of being shipped to me. Once the time came for the deliver person to arrive at my mom grew curious as to what was going on since the tracking number said he would be delivered at 4 and it was now almost 5. So I called the agency and told me they never shipped the dog and they demanded more money for an insurance they said the dog needed. When I asked why they didn’t tell me in the beginning of the process they just replied and said they didn’t know. I just demanded my money back and told them to send the dog to the breeder, but they told me they would not refund me my money. The breeder would also not give me my money back. Between the shady breeder and the shady delivery agency I lost $1000. These people know my partner and I name and our address.

When you go on the delivery agencies website the man I spoke with his direct number was on the contact us page. When I looked up there address it was a apartment in Atlanta that was for sell.

The breeder went by Roselyn Posy

The delivery guy went by Samuel Hassan
