Type of a scam Fake Check/Money Order
He offers job at Craigslist but when you get in contact with him he says that job is taken but he got something else availiable. He said he would send you money to do small works for him while he is out of the country.
He will send you the check first and bad thing about this check is that is a really professionally done company check that even has heat stamp and watermark. He will ask you do buy envelopes and stamps first so you can mail some documents for him first. While at it he will be asking you to take out some cash and deposit it in certain bank account or money order to his “clients”. He called himself Ortiz smith but he could have changed his gig name already. Give it about 2 weeks check bounces and now you are in a whole for the amount of check you spent for him.
