I as well was chosen for this position. Luckily I looked him up because it sounded verY fishy, and I ran across that others have been effected by his scam. So I received the check and just trashed it and emailed him back to leave me alone.

Type of a scam Employment

I responded to an employment add for a virtual assistant.. I received an email back indicating I was chosen for the position and asked to complete an online virtual assistant application, which I did. The application came in a long email detailing the job duties and indicating the job paid $705/weekly. I was asked to confirm my address and sign via typed signature my name as accepting the job. I then received a fedex package with a check for 3.381.50, for which I was to carry out various errands and keep $705 as my pay. This happened twice, within four days of each other and on the second occasion, my bank froze my account and zeroed out my account and indicated the checks were fraudulent and I now owed them $3,000.00. The author of the add all the email correspondence and text is Tim Dempsey, President and Chief Executive Officer.
