A gentlemen knocked on my door just introducing himself from the name of the company, pointing to the logo on his polo shirt, no name was mentioned. He claimed to be sent from my home insurance company as a courtesy roof inspection for a storm that happened almost 2 months ago. When asked what the name of my insurance was, he didn’t know. I told him i wasn’t comfortable so he lingered then left and made a sny remark like, "i love your dogs…" After he left I called my insurance company and they said they don’t send out inspectors without policy holder filing a claim first. I then looked up this roofing company then find out they closed 2 hours prior! Then I called the police to notify the officers patrolling the area because the whole thing is suspicious.
