This company preys on seniors and holds their computer hostage by contacting them online possibly through malware. They stole 2000$ from a senior and said they wouldn’t perform work until they were wired 2000$. They are unavailable for contact afterwards, and didn’t repair anything that couldn’t be done for a nominal fee or free at the *** store. They contact individuals by phone, possibly pop up windows / malware, and scare unsuspecting seniors into fixing things that don’t cost this much. The fact that they demanded a wire transfer is highly suspicious.
They also possibly added malware or surveillance software previously to gain access. Their attempts were stopped once over the phone.
