My husband and I were taking care of some business on the computer and all of a sudden we get this notice that says do not go any further you have a virus please call this number 877-767-1342, also noticed in the background i saw the Microsoft logo so I assumed it was coming from Microsoft, anyway talked to a guy named Bruno Williams, ext 429, Employee #BW43038, anyways he asked to do a diagnostic test, which meant getting remotely into my computer, I said yes, cause wow I had a virus, well after a long winded of convincing me, it finally occurred to me that I’m being conned, I finally asked is this something you can fix and is this going to cost me, he fumbled and said yes, after that I hung up. MY biggest complaint #1 my computer does not have a virus, #2 he tried to sell me something out of FEAR.
