Type of a scam Fake Check/Money Order
used letgo to sell a wood saw. this person diego solis sent me message thru letgo that he wanted to buy it and did not ask any questions about saw, he also said he was in military and on training mission,he asked if he could send cashers check from Ohio and I said ok when check clears he can have saw (which he would have movers pick up)
he sent text to me with tracking # and extra money to pay movers, which raised a flag. checked with USPS and ScamPulse.com and they said the check might clear but would come back bad so I text him and told him I am going to cancel
purchase and send his check back.
