Type of a scam Employment

A Facebook user posted on a local garage sale site a job opening, working from home from your own computer or phone. They claimed they were hiring for the company OneSupport Inc, which is a real company. They gave Onesupport’s address in Texas when I asked where the main office was.

They said I would just need to download Google Hangout, so I could interview with someone. I just had to use this weird email address and tell them a code number in the message section. I interviewed with a Mr ,Jeremy or some name that started with a J. And yes there was a comma in front of his name, when he introduced himself. The job description has a job opening on their website, but if you read the website’s actual job listing, you will see a lot of problems with the scammers’ job offers.

I went through the whole interview on Google Hangout, with some random person. They asked me interview questions, then told me no questions til the end. I was told I was hired because I scored a 90%……and to hurry up and give them all my personal information, because they only had 30 minutes. I used that time after I was told I scored a 90% to look up Onesupport’s website. I found that they do indeed have a customer support job opening, for $10 an hour. The scammers offered $20. They also didn’t care that I didnt know my words per minute. The website says that I would have to take a typing test. I also am supposed to go through a job application first, then a phone interview, and then if I’m chosen, I would have to verify that I had the correct software on my computer, and fast speed internet, and a wpm typing test, among other things. All of which the scammers had no interest in learning. But were supposedly able to offer me a job today, immediately after the "interview". Luckily I did not give them any of my information.
