I visited the American Red Cross website to sign up for an authorized CPR class. A CPR class provided by Omni Safety Institute was listed and I signed up for it because the date/time worked best for me. On the day of the class, the instructor, Eugene, said that I would receive my certification card after the class, but I never received it. I tried calling and emailing the instructor/company to inquire about this but never got a response. I contacted the American Red Cross about the issue. They looked into it and confirmed that Omni Safety Institue is no longer a registered CPR provided with the American Red Cross and that I had been scammed.
