This person called, asked to speak to my husband by name, and said he was calling in regard to our Federal Taxes. I believe this was the start of a scam. I gave the person an earful and hung up.

Type of a scam Tax Collection
Called with the purpose to help me out with a tax lien. I don’t have a tax lien. They even cited the date and amount of the tax lien levied against me. The punch line is they wanted to represent me to release the lien for a fat fee.
