Type of a scam Online Purchase

So I was looking for a bulldog puppy to surprise my boyfriend with for Christmas. He had never had a dog of his own, so when I came across this dog breeders website and saw they were $900 I thought it was too good to be true. I spoke with the breeder, Abraham Whitehead, and started getting information about the dog. So I after answering all my questions reasonablity I went ahead to start making payments. First payment of $300 went through smoothly, until it was refunded because it had to be changed to a different name and different city. I was concerned about the name change, but he claimed that he had exceeded the amount of times he couldn’t receive money. I then googled the information through money gram and found that it was a reasonable explanation. So I continued and send to the new name. After a few days the breeder was supposed to take my dog off the website and he never did. Then when it came to the last and final payment of $600, there was another name and location change. Again when I asked, he said it was for the agency that was going to deliver the dog. I sent the money and 30 minuets later I received a text message from him saying that the money got refunded back to be. He then became very persistent about me calling to confirm and authorize the transfer. I became very irritated because I thought if this is a professional business why would the breeder be so persistent about receiving money he knew he was going to get? I then received a text message in all capital letters asking if i was going to go back to send the money the same day. This is when I called and spoke with him, mind it being the first time he answers my phone calls. After speaking with him I spoke with money gram about as to why it cancelled and refunded. In other words, Money Gram has the software to detect frauds and reports against businesses, so if it weren’t for Money Gram I’m sure I would have lost out on all my money. I decided not to go through with the purchase of the bulldog and spoke with Abraham once more. After that he has refused to refund my $300 and has come up with sad and unreasonable excuses not to send it back. He has also tried to guilt trip me into continuing the purchase with the dog. Please do not trust this man or this website.
