A group of men came up to my dad’s house and said they had some asphalt left over from a previous job and wanted to sell it to my dad for $20 a yard. He said at first the sealer would be included but then he changed the price to $22 a yard. Said it would seal up really hard in 24 hours. They said they would be back by the next day to check on it and they would put a sign out in the front yard if that was ok. Well needless to say they got $2700 from my dad by way of check and cashed it the very next morning. The asphalt never got hard it is just like a power/gravel substance. They gave him a card to call if any problems but of course the phone number doesn’t work. The name on the card was Oklahoma Road Builder and the number is 580-222-1517.
