Type of a scam Charity
I received two phone calls from an organization called Nspire, one on 8/8/16 (daytime) and another on 8/18/16 (nighttime). Both calls were from two women asking for clothing or food donations. They confirmed my mailing address and ask if I can make a donation. At first, I thought that it was a legit charity. In both calls I said I would be glad to make a clothing or food donation. They told me to put the items in a bag, label them, and place them on the doorstep to be picked up on a specified day at 7 am. I don’t think that most charities would tell you to donate items by placing them outside your doorstep.
