Just wanted you to know the number and that they are working around Lexington again. This is only to make you more aware of this scam.

i just received a call from 866-404-7389 informing me that my social security number has been canceled. I remained on the phone until and agent answered and once I began to question how and why he knew that my SSN was compromised he got irate and instructed for me to hang up. It sounded like the guy that answered was Indian but I didn’t get any additional info bc he disconnected the call once I became suspicious.

Individual sent an email after finding my vehicle on Craigslist and said please send your direct email so my husband can contact you. Then I received an email from an unknown name claiming they were interested and wanted to buy the truck. Later he requested me to get a vehicle report and send to him because his loan officer requested it. The website he sent was www. infovehiclereport.com and said take the $25 off of the vehicle price if I didn’t want to pay for it.

Got a call fron this number. Automated voice answered explaining that my factory vehicle warranty was almost expired. I have a used car and no warranty on it. Call asked me if i could speak to a representative. I stupidly said yes and immediately got hung up on. Tried to call the number back and it was a not in service number. Im slighty worried about saying yes over the phone and possably agreeing to something i was unaware of during the call. Anf lld that leads me here reporting this number for telemarketing and just overall being shady.

I have been called by various numbers all beginning with area code 816 then 392. The last 4 are always different, but I calls back to tell them to stop calling me and a woman answered and said she never called me. The 816 and 392 are the first 6 of my phone number. I answered a couple of times and it is a recording so I hang up. They have called me 3 times a day for over a month.

I quickly got out of it. Not sure if this infected my phone or not by installing a malware. But I believe this is a scam. The text came from the phone # listed and would not call me directly when requested, stating he is at church function and cannot talk in person for 3 hrs.

All I heard was 4 allocations was against me and if I did not call back they would have a warrant for my arrest. It sounded like a female robot. looked up area code and it was from New York.

this phone number (563)-517-8505 called my cell phone and left a voice message that if i did not return their call, an official would arrest me and take me away in handcuffs. It said to call right away.

So I googled the phone number 563-517-8505 and the word scam. There were several reports on Google about this phone number calling people about the same thing.

I called the phone number 563-517-8505 and a male answered. He asked for my phone number. I gave my cell phone # to him. He then said Sheila, I said no my name is not sheila. He said yes Sheila. I said no. (I did not give him my name) He said check your text right now, a code # is coming through. you need to give this to me. A text was sent with a code # 616676. I did not give him the code #. I told him that I was going to report them for scam and call the ScamPulse.com.I told him that I typed their phone number into Google and there are several reports of fraud. He said "I don’t care, go ahead". I then hung up.

This particular company calls me and asks for Maryann, or some name that isn’t mine. Then they always say, "Well maybe you can help me" and they start to rattle off an important charity. Once it was the fraternal order of police, today it was veterans, and I don’t remember the others.

They are very rude and won’t let you interrupt. The first time I kindly explained I couldn’t give at this time and he got very aggressive, when I wouldn’t give, he cursed at me.

It is always an 816 area code number.

Type of a scam Rental

I do not know the business name and called them after seeing a commercial. I did not see the commercial so I have no idea what the company is called but my parents became intrested in a medical product they were selling that they claim could cure anything at the number 1888-611-3808. When they called a woman answered and said the treatment about $*** then reduced it to encourage them to buy but my parents rejected. So after this the same day calls started occuring from the number 312-765-7523 it got extremly annoying nobody answered when I said hello I gave up answering and just let the phone ring. I ended up calling local authorities about this number since they persisted my parents were not there when this occured but when they came home and answered the phone that number 1312-765-7523 turned out to be the woman whom they talked to about the medicine she wanted to ask if they were instrested in still buying the product. I have no idea why she would do this but clearly there is something wrong with a business that does not understand the concept of no and keeps persisting to make a sale by calling people so many times and not answering it seems more of a scare tactic, and a bullying form of sales to get people to buy. Shame on them for doing that.

So, I told them to get someone on the phone that speaks English. Then I hung up on them. They turned around and called my husband. They tried to get him to give them my personal information. He didn’t and told them not to call again or he would report them to bbb.

A computer voice called and said that my car warranty was about to run out and wanted to know if I wanted to renew it.

It said it had called before and this was my final courtesy call before my warranty would be closed.

It asked if I’d like more information on the warranty? I said Yes. It then said to push "3" if my vehicle had less than 150,000 miles on it. When I hit the button, it hung up. I believe this is one of those "Can you hear me?" type scams.

The caller stated that he was with an organization conducting a consumer survey and proceeded to ask my age and race followed by a number of yes and no questions. After answering a clear "yes" the phone call came to an unceremonious end. I thought it was an accidental hang up and then realized that it was a "yes" scam. The scammer city, Pittsburgh, and state (PA) was based on caller ID.

I received automated calls to my cell phone from this number, saying they’re calling about "your student loan". I don’t have a student loan, and it’s clear that they’re deceptively trying to create the impression that they represent a creditor, hoping that I’m somebody who has these loans.

I just received one of those calls where the person asked "Can you hear me okay?" I didn’t reply at all, and then he said great and started his pitch. I tried to tell him I knew it was a scam, but of course it was prerecorded, so I just hung up. I did not say "yes" at any time during the call because I had heard about this scam. I am not sure what he was selling because I hung up too quickly. This was the phone number 502-403-2945.
