I received fake checks to be deposited in to my bank account and they wanted me to draw the money out and go buy ebay cards and send them the numbers so I never did cash them I done research on the company and checks and they no good but if deposited the checks will show good until the bank goes to collect the money then you find out you owe all this money back to your bank don’t cash these checks just shred the checks
I received from the postal service a priority mail package with one sheet of instructions and a YMCA of Austin check drawn from BBVA COMPASS, Austin, TX $945.52. Due to the responses I read above, I called the BBVA Compass bank in Austin, TX to verify the check. They told me that they could not verify if it’s a personal check. How can I verify if this check is real?
