Computer scam! Hacker was able to get into laptop and claim there was a virus and they need to & quot;clean” the computer. Was very polite and gave employee i. D number, all type of info as if this was a legit business. Was able to control computer from over the phone. Asked about a card I had and confirmed the last 4 digits of the card, asked for the rest of the card number and it was given to him, to pay for & quot;cleaning” the computer. Asked about any accounts with amazon, home depot, etc and told him about amazon account. Was able to put things in amazon cart as a & quot;test” saying the account wouldn’t be charged, just putting something in the cart as an example. Felt like this was a scam so hung up and called credit card and the items that were put in the cart was actually charged to the card. (xbox, ps4) cancelled card. Also claims to be in good with the better business bureau. Lost upward of 150 dollars. Two transactions were made
