Type of a scam Employment
I applied on a large job website (zip recruiter) it was listed as oldham-gryzka of Syracuse in Fayetteville, NY.(I think they using real business names) then was sent an email for a position telling me to create a google hangout account. I interveiwed over text (I should have stopped right there) then was offered a position (I don’t even think they said what the position was). I gave them my address, name and telephone number (never do this) then they said they would send me a laptop and a check to buy the programs in the mail. Once I received the check in the mail the company went from nexus telecom to sca auction. Immediately, I knew it was a scam. I opened the packedge and inside was a letter and a check for 4,850.00. I put both back inside and googled if nexus telecom was a scam. Some articles popped up, one of them stating that they deposited the check, then ripped her off and used her information. STAY AWAY.
