I was contacted by Mr. Caleb Rivers from Planet Travel stating that they had a buyer for my condo in Playa-del-Carmen. I told him up front that I was not going to send him any money and he reassured me that they did not ask up front for money but as time passed, he called an said that they needed $3,250.00 so that I can be registered as a foreign investor. I hesitantly sent that money and I said no more. Now they are asking for money for closing and administration fee. I said I am not sending any money at all.
I received a call from Stacey Cummings from Newport international and she said that it was all legitimate. It was strange that she could not send me e.mails or me send her e.mails. She would fax me things. Anyway, both Planet Travel and Newport International Investments are scams and threatening me about the closing and I will not send any more money. Caleb Rivers # is 307 4141080 and he is from Cheyenne Wyoming. Stacy Cummings # is 719 309-1083. She can never be reached. Is there anyway, I can get my money back? I do have information e.mailed to me if you need this information.
