Type of a scam Government Grant
One of my friends sent me a message on messenger. he asked me if I heard about the new year federal government grant. I told him no and asked what’s it about. he told me its specifically for those who needs assistance paying for bills, buying a home, starting their own business, going to school, or even helping raise their children with old, disabled and retired people.
He then forward me Attorney *** private text number ***and said she will help me get the grant. Said she was a good and honest woman so, text her to apply.
I did and of course I gave her my information on thinking my friend was sending this to me. I was qualified for a 50,000.00 grant that will be at my doorstep in 24hours delivered by FedEx.
I didn’t become hesitate till they asked me was a store near by me and I said not at the moment. Pam Lauren said I need to go in purchase iTunes cards in the amount of 500.00 and I told her I don’t have that kind of money. She of course start asking what can I pay because, I’m gonna prolong my money. Then she knock it down to 250.00.
I ignored the text and eventually call my fiend and he told me he doesn’t use his messenger and it was a scam
