Victim was contacted via telephone by someone claiming to be from the IRS/they were going to open a case against her if she did not pay the amount requested by end of day. Victim sent moneygram of $1507.56. She then contacted a number for the IRS she found independently and they informed her that it was in fact a scam and referred her to her local BBB.
