Mary from NCW called me and advised that papers were going to be served in the county I live in by the end of the week if I didn’t pay them for a payday loan I had not completely paid off yet. The loan was originally for $300.00 and it had been paid back except for around $100.00. She requested $502.50 and I told her I didn’t have all of it to pay at one time. My husband borrowed money from family member and called her back later and paid the debt completely off on 2-Dec-2015. I received an email from the loan company on 7-Dec-15 regarding payment so I disregarded it since it was already paid off. I have received calls from 2 different "litigation" companies threatening me if I don’t pay this off. I have tried called the payday loan company but have changed their name and only there hours that I do not have access to call them.

I filed for bankruptcy last year. I have received phone calls from an "Officer" Robert Newman from "NCW Billing", reporting that they are going to arrest my son because he signed a check. They are asking for us to pay $1,310 because the check was written for $500, and the interest was $650 and all of this has added up from 2011. I don’t believe this is legitimate.
