National Student Loan Alliance contacted me regarding consolidating my student loan debt. For a fee of $250 per month for 3 months, I was told that I could reduce my monthly payments based on my income and in 20 years the balance would be forgiven. Needless to say, they took my money and ran. My loan was put into "economic hardship" and that was IT. I currently have a federal loan agency looking into my case. If you get a call from anyone promising you LOAN FORGIVENESS: HANG UP!
