Type of a scam Debt Collections
This company keeps contacting us and claiming that they are a debt collector and they are looking for my wife’s whereabouts. They only contact my phone, my work phone, and out families phones. They never contact her directly. We have absolutely no unpaid debts that we owe (only credit card and mortgage). We purchased a house 2 years ago and our credits were clean. This is obviously a scam. Attached is the document where they claim shows proof she owes money. It’s just a paper asking to send them money. They emailed this to my wife when my when I handed the phone to my wife.
I’m not sure, but I think they’re company name is Midwestern Alliance. But they never tell the company name when they call. It’s only indicated in the document attached. There is a bit more information on top of the picture attached as part of the header, but that was personal information, that’s why I didn’t include it in the attachment.
They are fairly threatening in their tone of voice also. They even ask to contact them even if we don’t have any information regarding the whereabouts of the person.
