He said he wanted a contribution for the police department and man and women who are fighting to protect us. I told him I did not have any money to donate at the moment. He was super pushy trying to get me to donate for 75,95, 105 dollars. After I rejected he offered some booster donations of 15,25, 35 dollars to Goodwill or other organizations. I asked for the number so I could call back after I made my decision and he gave me the 1-866 number and said to call with any questions and thanked me for my time. The robot voice saying the call would be recorded for record purposes sounded so real but it was just him.

Getting 3 to 5 calls a day from 315-410-0874 phone number. The recording says it is "Kenneth Allen from the National Police Support Fund" and they are asking for donations. I have asked 5 times to be removed from their call list, but they are still constantly calling, at this point it is harassment and it needs to STOP!

Multiple attempted calls from one number. Once it was blocked through my service provider, an additional phone number began to call my home multiple times a day. Asking for donations to the “National Police Support Fund. Unable to verify the federal tax ID, redirected to a toll-free number. Stated that donations were not tax-deductible. Continuously redirected to the toll free number provided which “cut out” each time it was listed.

I got a call from them saying it was the time of year to start up the donation drive, and the phone operator tries his best to kay in with a guilt trip to get you to "donate." I confronted him that if they were legit, why it was that they are labeled as a scam operation.

He of course provided a non-reassuring answer with no defence when the jig was up, and ended the call.

I received a phone call asking me to donate to National Police Support Fund I was going to give them my debit card number over the phone but changed my mind at the last moment.

I did not feel comfortable giving the information over the phone . I asked them to mail me a bill instead and they did , I called the phone number on the letter and did not get a respond so I decided to go to their website . I came across ScamPulse.com warning people about donating to the NPSF .

I’ve become suspicious after reading what they had to say . So I would like to say just beware of scammers , I’ve copied the letter I received so in hopes that people will know not to donate unless you are 109% sure it not a scam.

On 12/30/2018, I received a call from (862) 333-2411 from a man with a deep voice and a southern accent, who identified himself as Dan, if I would like to make a donation to the National Police Trust Fund. I told him that there is no such thing as a National Police Trust Fund. He paused for a few seconds and said "okay, bye" and hung up the phone.

I was contacted in Wilton, CT by representatives of the National Police Support Fund. I should have been more aware that it sounded fishy and of course just saw the ScamPulse.com warning. Just want you notified that they are calling on area code 203 #’s in CT now. Please let me know if there are any actions ScamPulse.com suggests I take other than ignore any future requests. I did satisfy my rather small donation at their website – https://nationalpolicesupportfund.com . If it is a scam they are awfully convincing on the phone but are also rather forceful.

  1. I just got a call from 785-260-7694 . Caller ID said spam ( please make me understand why scam has changed to spam) . Anyhow it’s all same as above. National police Support Fund . The guy will not listen when you say no thanks. He said why not just 40 then he went down to 20 then said well what if you had a family member who was a police officer. I laughed cause I have a few and know this is a giant scam.
