Type of a scam Healthcare/Medicaid/Medicare
The person called me and he immediately said the following: "I understand that you just applied for social security disability, can you hear me alright?" – I immediately told him that i understand that he has the wrong number!!!
I then called the number back – 814-347-6625 and there are only 2 options – option 1 was to speak to one of their agents and option 2 was to be put on the do not call list – (how bizarre) so I chose option 1 – and I figure because I was the one calling them…the message stated the following: "We are sorry but our records indicate that you have already spoken with one of our agents and did not qualify, thank you and have a wonderful day" – What? I didn’t answer any questions that would or would not disqualify me for this scam.
This is a scam because I never applied for disability nor would they know. I stopped it before they could ask for my personal information. Watch out for these scammers!
