Type of a scam Phishing
I got a phone call that started off with a recording from a scammer claiming to be with the National Dealer Servicing Company. The recording prompted me to say yes to wanting an extended warranty on my vehicle. It then put me through to a live person who asked a few questions, got the make and models of my vehicles, my zip code, and my name. So far I’ve only lost time due to having to report the incident. I am reporting this directly after the incident and pray that nothing comes of it.
