Type of a scam Credit Repair/Debt Relief
The scammer started with an autodialer which said that the loan on my car was about to default and I should press "1" to speak with a representative to arrange for the loan to remain open. I pressed 1 and the representative said "Hello this is Terrence from the National Dealer Association. To confirm your identity, please give us the make and model of your car." At this point I gave "Terrence" an obviously wrong model and he hung up.
