Type of a scam Employment
Applied to a few postings online for mystery shopper positions. I was contacted my phone about 2 weeks later, and was told I was selected to be a secret shopper. No interview, nothing. Then I was told I would be receiving a training manual and a list of jobs along with a certified cheque of approximately $2000 dollars for those jobs as well as an advanced paycheck being sent with USPS and that I would be given a tracking number. It all seemed very suspicious and lined up with what I have read about these scams.
