I was sent a link to a link to a vehicle auto history report site and asked to get a copy of a report for the potential buyer from Craigslist. The report came back with very little info. I then researched the site and realized this is a common scam. Hope my CC info has not been compromised too.

I recieved a text message asking if I could send a car history report for the vehicle i had listed on Craig’s list. I was in a rush during the morning and need the car gone so stupidly I did it… and never got the report and the person is no longer replying to me now.

I googled the website name and the first result was "*company name* scam", so I told him I would supply my own vin report from a trusted site, and haven’t heard back from him ever since.
