Type of a scam Fake Check/Money Order
I was sent a check along with instructions to deposit the check and sign up through email for being a mystery shopper. I was then supposed to buy Google play prepaid cards and send pictures of the numbers from the cards to the email. I suspected a scam and looked it up. Although it was designed to look like a legitimate company it had none of the same contact information as the legitimate company. The check that was mailed was also from a completely different company.
