Already posted before but I got THREE more, increasingly desperate looking letters. Got concerned on the one because it had my dealership listed but then you look below at the fine print and they state they’re not endorsed or affiliated with the dealership! Look them up on the BBB website (you’ll know it’s the right one if the address is on Highway 94 in St Charles, MO.

I would have included the photo of mail received however the link below does not allow me to upload the documents.

I get about 4-5 calls a week from someone claiming to be from the vehicle warranty department at a company called motor vehicle services. I have asked every single time to be removed and have been told by multiple callers that “there are thousands of different warranty companies and we may not be the ones you’ve asked to be removed from the call list of”. Even though I confirm every time that the company name is Motor Vehicle Services. The latest call was about 5 minutes ago by a man named Tony. Who told me that I should listen to his pitch and hear what he has to say. I informed him that I was going to report him and he immediately hung up

"Cory" or "Cody" is incredibly rude when he knows he’s been caught in a scam. Asked to speak with his supervisor and he said, "I have a supervisor, but you’re not speaking to them until I get the information I need". Also said I was "misinformed" when I said I didn’t have a warranty (I do, and that was a test).

I began receiving multiple notices stating that my vehicle factory warranty is expiring. I found this odd, because my new vehicle came with a Toyota warranty and my vehicle hadn’t hit the limit number of miles yet for the warranty to expire, so I was already skeptical. After ignoring the letters, I then began receiving these notices far more frequently and they would say “immediate response required.” Concerned at this point, I called the number listed on the paper. Nowhere on the paper could I locate a physical address or company name. All it said was Motor Vehicle Services. I spoke with Tyler, who was nice in the beginning. In fact, he went and got his program director who approved me for the renewed warranty. I was told they were making a special exception for me because my car was so new. During this time, there were no transfer calls. It essentially was just someone handing the phone off to another person. I asked if I could think about it because I was feeling very bad about the call, but was told that if I opted out that I would lose the warranty for good. Tyler became extremely pushy that I pay a down payment for the warranty. I had been skeptical all along, so I stated I am not interested. It was that point that Tyler became absolutely HORRIBLE. He said I was stupid to not renew. He said I would get in a car accident and then come crying to them for help, and they will turn me away. He stated that my car will undoubtably have major issues and it will be my own stupidity. Then became even more extremely pushy that I make a down payment with either a debit or credit card. He was persistent in trying to get my credit or debit card information. After multiple times of me stating I was not interested, he then threatened me stating that he already had all my information so it didn’t matter. At this point I was angry and reiterated that I was not interested. I hung up the call, at which point I received FIVE calls from this same number. He left 2 voicemails as well. Absolute scam!!!! SCAM!!!!!!!

They called from the number listed above and left voicemails with fake names. In the voicemail his name was Brian and when he answered he said his name was Jason Turner. I knew he was lying because of his distinctly annoying voice. I asked him where he recieved my number and he told me they only return phone calls. Proceeded to tell me I called them and continued to ask the make, model, and year of my car. I told him I have an extended warranty and to take me off the call list. He then stated that if I went through my dealership I was being scammed and that I needed to cancel my policy and have him set something up for me.

A company claiming their name is “Motor Vehicle Services” keeps calling to tell me my warranty is almost up on my vehicle. They call from various numbers virtually every day. When I ask them to remove me from their list, they say they apologize and it will take 2-3 days. This has happened for approximately 3 months. The phone numbers are not consistent. It sounds unprofessional when they call and are laughing on the other end, unfamiliar with the policy, or are unable to provide a company name when asked. The most recent caller was able to provide a nondescript name of “Motor Vehicle Services.” Their numbers are from Pennsylvania.

They called with incorrect information on April 9th 2018, regarding a warranty extension for my vehicle. When I told them it was the wrong year and asked how they got my information she hung up. Then another girl called back on April 13 around 12:30pm and had corrected the year issue… but then got an attitude when I asked how she got my information. She then said rude remarks and hung up. I then decided to call back. I spoke with a woman that identified herself as Connie, the supervisor… I asked for their tax ID number to legitimize the business and she blew me off too then hung up. When i tried to call back it said that number was disconnected. DON’T GIVE PERSONAL INFORMATION IF THEY CANNOT GIVE YOU TAXID INFO!!!!! (even if they can, proceed with caution)

This is a scam organization that claims to be "Motor Vehicle Services". They send letters and make phone calls to tell people that their warranty on their vehicle is expiring and that they need to purchase a new warranty immediately. They claim to be business partners with all the major vehicle manufacturers and I know for a fact that this is a lie due to the fact that I, myself work at Hyundai. When I called in and called them out on it being a scam, they yelled, cursed at me then hung up. They are very good at sounding extremely professional and knowledgeable but they are complete imposters praying on the young and senior citizens. They just scammed one of my customers who purchased a car from me two months ago. He wound up paying them $400 that he will never see again, for a warranty that doesn’t exist. Not to mention, he already has warranty on his car.

This company:

Sends a postal mail, with a bald imprint: IMMEDIATE RESPONSE TO THIS NOTICE REQUESTED

inside the mail, overall letter looks very official, but here are some hints to validate its validity and reliability:

1 – There is no VIN of your car in this letter. so this alone told me that they are not from dealer neither from manufacturer.

2 – There is no full address of this company and its location anywhere in the letter.

3 – Keywords to cause fears in consumers: our records, notice, warranty will expire, neglecting to replace your coverage, risk of financially being liable, file deletion, no longer eligible.

I called and talked to the individual, "James". He got mad when I asked him if his business has any tie to the dealership or the manufacturer. He started to shouting at me and telling me that I need to read the letter, and when ready then call back for buying the warranty extension. He also kept saying that the power train warranty is useless, and worth nothing, degrading the extended warranty that dealer provided.

He hung up on me. 🙂

These people have been trying to contact so I could extend the factory warranty on a 2006 Ford. I do not have a ford at all, never have had so I called to tell them they had made a mistake and they could stop trying to contact me. The man who answered could have cared less about my trying to advise him that I did not have a 2006 ford, he kept asking me what kind of car I had. Obviously they send out these notices and when someone calls in, they just move on trying to sell coverage on whatever vehicle the caller has.

I have been receiving letters in the mail that my warranty on my car was about to expire. I have been putting it of then I received one that said the deadline was in 3 days and I thought I was from my dealership so I called the number and basically fell for the scam. I went to put coverage on my car. They told me I can pay the full amount or pay the downpayment and make monthly payments. They offered the lowest which was $150 for a down payment and $100 a month. So I payed the down payment over the phone. I called my parents to let them know because they knew about the letters but they told me that it was most likely a scam and to call and cancel the coverage. When tried the people there were very rude and playing games. Everytime I asked to cancel they said "why would you want to do that" i repeated told them that I already have coverage and just wanted to cancel. and they would tell me that their coverage was better. I would then tell them thats ok I just want to cancel and once again they asked the same question. Once I started to get frustrated I began cutting off his speech he continued to repeat which led him to say "you dont have to act like you didn’t hear me I have all night to go around." I continued to hang up and he kept calling back and I answered in hopes he would just cancel and refund my money. During this I did contact my bank and had the payment stopped. Finally after many calls he finally said he can see I’m getting frustrated so he will cancel it and refund my money in a couple of days. I let it be since I know the bank already informed me with what will happen if it does go through.

Whenever we purchase a automobile we purchase an extended warranty. Shortly after each purchase we have received an official sounding letter, claiming that our service contract/warranty is about to expire and that "IMMEDIATE RESPONSE TO THIS NOTICE IS REQUIRED". They then offer to extend our contract/warranty through the period it is ALREADY extended through. No contact address is ever given, just a telephone number 1-844-398-3636. We know this is bogus so we ignore it, but some people may be shaken by it and earnestly respond, only to be taken by a phony scam.

I have been receiving calls from a company that I was finally able to have an "employee" identify as "Motor Vehicle Services". They call under the pretense that my factory warranty on my vehicle is almost expired and that I can extend through them.

I purchased an extended warranty at the dealership and it is nowhere near expired. They representatives that call will not take "no" for an answer. They have called me every day, sometimes several times a day, for months now.

I’ve politely declined, I’ve listened to their pitch for about 30 minutes once, I’ve impolitely declined, I’ve hung up on them, and I’ve warned them that if they didn’t stop calling that I would file complaints and contact law enforcement.

You can’t block the calls because they use a different number every time. They also send postal mail products to us that look professional, but still pushy. Those are easy to throw away, though.

This business has now become an entertaining part of my family’s daily lives. If they continue calling, we’re going to start taking turns wasting their time, providing them bogus information, and otherwise bothering them in return to make us feel better.

The company, Motor Vehicle Services, sent a mailing that informed me that my auto warranty had expired or will expire on my vehicle. It stated "immediate response to this notice required" and that I have time to correct the issue "before it’s too late." It threatened that I may not be eligible for coverage if I do not respond by a certain date. This mailing includes specific information on the make and year of my vehicle. It is very difficult to decipher if it is from your car manufacturer or the insurance company as the description of Motor Vehicle Services is in tiny print at the bottom right of the letter.. It is misleading to state that a response is "required" and I fear other recipients may sign-up for the insurance thinking they need to take action to maintain their warranty and not understanding it is 100% optional.
