I saw a Facebook event for Mo’s Crab-N-Chowder fest to be held on Jan 20, 2018, featuring all you can eat crab, drinks, and a band. I purchased a ticket for $50. My mother also purchased a ticket. I just saw on the Kansas City Fox News website and the Kansas City Star website that the event was a hoax, and that around 290 people were scammed by whomever organized the fake event—they suggested we file a ScamPulse.com complaint as well as contact our financial institutions. Payment was made via Amazon Pay using a credit/debit card.
