Type of a scam Online Purchase
We bought a puppy from them (Leonard Bedsours); paid with moneygram that covered puppy and delivery $505.00. Shipping was free. Then once they got their moneygram they said they need additional funds to deliver the puppy in s special transport crate and wanted $1500 (which they said 98% refundable) Since I was dealing with an angry Nigerian accent that told me if Ii don’t pay the additional amount they would be delivering a dead puppy at my doorstep as an intimidation I knew at that point this was a scam and I didn’t pay any more. They threatened to sue me for puppy abandonment. I didn’t have a phone number contact until the supposed shipper called (which I think is the same person I was dealing with thru email on the purchase)- at that point I pulled up their phone # on the internet and saw that others have been scammed by this person, although the dog breeds had changed along with the names given. they lost $1900 and $2500 because they sent the additional money which was not refunded nor did they get a puppy. I’m out $505 and have no puppy either. Since I’ve refused to pay the additional I have received email threats. The emails are all broken up and I have several so I’ll only send a couple examples.
