Moderate Living for the Aging

Type of a scam Credit Cards

My bank reported a credit card charge of $485.45 to an on-line site address of mlftha.org. I did not make the charge or authorize anyone else to make the charge. I immediately contacted the bank and cancelled the card so I will probably not lose the money, however, upon checking the Web, I found other locations using the same name in Mt. Gilead, NC; Lexington, SC; Little Rock AR; Roswell, GA; and Cary, NC. The Web pages seem to be the same, and some of the phone numbers are the same. No one answers the phone, but asks you to leave a telephone number if you want to donate; customer service, at extension 145 is always "not available." Searching other sources for the organization indicates the number of employees is one (1). It appears that the organization, itself, is using a stolen credit card number to generate income for itself. I doubt very much that any criminal would donate money out of the goodness of their heart to an organization allegedly supporting the aging. All the earmarks of a scamming organization. They should be reported to the IRS.
