Type of a scam Credit Repair/Debt Relief

I was initially misled by this company when they were formally known as National Secure Processing back in 2014. I thought they had originally been taking care of my student loan payments through a student loan forgiveness income base program. I was then signed on in late 2017, early 2018 with Mission Hills Federal to do the same thing. So, I just now find out through an e-mail with the FTC in October 2019 that there was some potential scam going on and this matter is in court. I then contacted my student loan agency (Navient) as of October 14, 2019 and they advised me that no such payment(s) were ever made by National Secure Processing or by Mission Hills Federal and I have been making payments for 6 years!!! So now my account has been collecting interest and my student loans were never opted for income base at a lower interest rate!

Any third party calling you and stating to help consolidate your student loan debt is fraud/scam. This company changed name several times and withdrew $97.10 from my bank account for 19 months totaling $1845. Thankfully they have been stopped by the FTC, but these calls are still going on be weary. The phone call starts by stating "with the recent government shut down and the implication of the William B Ford act, you can have your loans forgiven"… Don’t do it, I learned the hard way $1845 later.

I was contacted by mission hills and told they could lower my payment of my federal student loan which I thought was legit and was going to be a good thing… I contacted the federal student loan department and inquired about my loan after receiving a text from them that my payment was due . after verifying that the number called was in fact the correct number listed on multiple locations. they informed me that they had not received a payment 3 years and I asked for the contact info they had for me ( information that I had never had before ever) now im moving on fraud charges toward them.

Was contacted in 2017 by *** *** *** to consolidate my student loans in order to set up a payment plan to repay them. Starting at a payment of about 50$ a month. Later the company was switched to Mission Hills Federal in which i wad notified if this via email, with my payments increasing. After checking with *** they have not recieved any of these payments towards my school loans. I have put a stop on my account for bow but worry about the contractual obligations and if this will affect my credit.

Type of a scam Credit Repair/Debt Relief

Entered into college loan consolidation program with mission hills. Paying 138.00 a month for over 3 years. After contacting fed loans and seeing how much I’ve paid down. Federal loans never received a payment. In fact they falsified my income, never reported I was married and said I have been unemployed for past 3 years. I now owe interest on my student loans, has accumulated for the past three years and lost over 6,000 dollars that I will never get back. My loans were never touched and I owe more than I did when I graduated. Accumulating interest. They took my money, never touched principal on my loans. In finally pulled out of my agreement with mission hills and am now paying back fed loans with the correct amount of money.

Seven years ago I was supposedly approved for the student loan forgiveness program; I completed paperwork one time and it has been transferred to numerous collectors since then. In all I’ve given $5,125; apparently I was scammed at the onset of my payments.

Mission Hills Federal took over loan management of my student loan from The Student Loan Group (who are also not reputable). I have found that Mission Hills Federal is not federally contracted with the Department of Education. My monthly payments have been going to them, and they have not sent those payments to my loan servicer, therefore no payments have been applied to my principal balance. Every time I speak to them on the phone, they deny me the right to speak to management. They tell me a different story every time. They are charging me fee’s to cancel my account with them. This is Illegal!

So this “company” which does not have a fisical address change from being NSL National secure processing to Mission Hills Federal. Do not pay any Student Loans to NO Agency but the real Lenders. They will scam you. The Real Lenders would give you the same options. I have been scammed and right now I’m waiting to see what happens with the money I paid.
