Type of a scam Online Purchase
Bought for 4 "Miracle Scrapers’ ice scrapers in Nov 2018. Come to find out my credit card that I used to purchase the scrapers back in Nov 2018 is now getting a reoccurring monthly charge of $9.95. It started near the end of Dec 2018 and occurred near the end of Jan and Feb 2019. I did not agree to any such thing, just purchased 4 scrapers for a single price and paid for them. When I look at Better Business Bureau complaints there are complaints posted about the very same thing. When you call the number posted on the credit charge transaction on my credit card statement you can’t get through due to high call volume according to a recorded message. Something is obviously not right. I called my credit card company and they are investigating and will return the charges to me. I don’t believe I will lose money, but i’m sure people with a lot of activity may miss this charge and they will get away with it.
