Mike Iannarelli

Kristy – Nov 11, 2020

Wow, I wish I had googled this sooner. I thought it was so weird that the page disappeared and I was unable to contact Mike. I honestly thought maybe I did something to piss him off and he blocked me from the page. I loved that page, I always wondered if Mike was legit and now I know it was all a big game. What a Con he is. I also sent him $20 for two autographed pictures back in May, I just figured he was too busy dealing with his health issues, What an embarrassment to Stephen Dorff and his family.

Leonard – Nov 06, 2020

I was also in the fan group. I can’t find it now. I guess I was removed even though I didn’t do anything. I also sent him 10$ for an autographed pic of Stephen that I never received. I figured something was up. Hindsight and all that..

Melinda – Nov 12, 2020

It wasn’t just you, you didn’t do anything, it was all him. Everyone was removed from the group as he shut it down because he knew it was just a matter of time before everyone there found out the truth about him. He’s monitoring this page and he knew we had figured him out. As soon as more people started posting here and calling him on his lies, he shut the page down and blocked everyone who had been a member. He’s still on FB and probably still scamming people in other groups. Hopefully some of them will decide to google his name at some point and discover the truth about him. He should be so embarrassed, knowing that Stephen and his family know what he did and the things he said and claimed to be true. A normal person would be mortified in that case. But he’s not normal, he apparently has serious mental problems and he probably doesn’t care at all that they know what he did. Just .like he doesn’t care that he scammed us out of money. If he cared, he would be contacting all of us that he took money from to refund us.

Micheal – Sep 29, 2020

I gave 10$ for a signed autograph from Mike and never received it he stated the building caught on fire and that I would receive it. I had a feeling it was a red flag and I trusted him shortly after I was blocked from the official stephen dorff fan page

Monique – Sep 24, 2020

I gave this man $40. Ten dollars twice for autograph pictures and another $20 for a dvd. This man is a fraud and my gut told me he was. Now I know better.

Unfortunately scam artists like Mike Iannarelli have no boundaries. They show no guilt or remorse for their behavior or their actions. Fortunately over the years, some have been lucky enough to get their money back. Others not so. Maybe if we give mike Iannarelli a chance to redeem himself? and pay back all the money he stole from his latest scam from the fans of Hollywood actor Stephen Dorff. Let’s say we give him 72 hours to make contact and refund the $$ from each individual? Seeing as he likes the celebrity lifestyle. When 72 hours is up, not only will he be social media famous. He’ll be Ohio famous. All his friends and family will see who he really is. Tick, tock, tick, tock…

Leslie – Sep 23, 2020

I don’t think that will work. Has there ever been a case of a scammer feeling remorse and changing? He’s obviously been doing it for a long time and hides being secret facebook groups now so those that know about him can’t warn those who still trust him. And is he really well known enough to be named and shamed? He works in a niche market. Which is why he’s been getting away with it.

Colleen – Sep 21, 2020

I sense another name change coming for our favourite pig faced scammer. May I suggest… George Glass?

William – Sep 20, 2020

I guess he scammed so many people using his real list name “Newmyer” that he changed it in hopes no one would realize he’s a lying [censored]! One thing you can’t hide from is your high school yearbook. Thank you classmates.com. The other photo is from the news article linked below where he pretends to be an upstanding member of the world and not a lying troll.

Scott – Sep 19, 2020

The more I learn about Mike Iannarelli, the more disgusted I get. When I first found this page a week ago, I was angry at being scammed out of $10 but reading how many people have been taken for much more money from him is infuriating! I’m lucky that I only lost $10. He tells about how he runs the musical estate for the late Timi Yuro, I’m sure he conned his way into owning that too. I wish her family and fans knew what kind of person has control of her estate now! I found that he did a GoFundMe in 2016, claiming it was to get Timi Yuro a star on the Hollywood Walk of Fame. I would love to know what he really did with that money!

Autumn – Sep 23, 2020

More evidence of a name change, his mom’s obituary.

Taryn – Sep 21, 2020

In the Stephen Dorff group, someone asked him about his profile pic once. It was of an Italian restaurant sign “Iannarelli’s” – they asked if he had a restaurant. He told them no but family members of his did. I’m guessing that’s why he picked Iannarelli for a last name. Who knows what he’ll pick next! He’s a professional con artist and needs to be put in jail!

Todd – Sep 20, 2020

Just found this

Veronica – Sep 20, 2020

Wow… Unbelievable… Thanks for sharing!

David – Sep 20, 2020

Elisa I went into the vinyl vigilante site you mentioned. There is a guy who went to school with him, and he says the name below was his original name and he’s changed it to Iannarelli. I have seen that name before but didn’t link the two because I was looking for Iannarelli. So the name below is the conviction for credit card scam.

Glenn – Sep 20, 2020

Cupcakes, I’m pretty sure his name is indeed Mike Iannarelli, so I doubt he is the one you read about being sentenced

Timothy – Sep 20, 2020

Wait, so Ianarelli isn’t even his last name? What a loser. You’d think Stephen Dorff would have been willing to help out his boyfriend with those court costs. Even though I’m pissed that I was conned out of money by such a tool (the guiding light episode con) and wish I’d been aware of this before, I take a lot of pleasure out of learning what a pathetic slug he really is. I’m fairly certain he’s got nobody in his life and frankly that’s his punishment. It’s gonna have to be because I’m clearly not getting my money back.

Paula – Sep 20, 2020

Thank you Elisa S for sharing this information. I am absolutely disgusted with what I have Just seen and read! Looks like many have tried to bring him down. He is relentless. He has no feelings towards anyone who he scams. He’s sick! Mike I know you are easing this. You are a sick, vile individual who crossed the wrong people. Your time will come I can assure you🤬

Kara – Sep 20, 2020

He scammed Timi Yuro fans too… Or at least that’s what they wrote a couple of years ago on the Facebook group called The Vinyl Vigilante

Alberto – Sep 19, 2020

He’s a troll. There is no way Stephen Dorff would have anything to do with him. I mean, have you seen his face? His parents were obviously siblings. I sent him $50 for Guiding Light episodes and received nada. I used to post comments on his YouTube page warning people not to give him money but the little turd removed them. I never understood why he’d put so much time into posting those episodes for free and yet be such a dishonest tool on the other hand. I can’t believe he’s trying it with photos of Stephen Dorff. And wasnt he trying to convince everyone that he was Frank Beatty’s agent? Someone who hasn’t worked in the industry for decades and who has NO online presence? He definitely chooses celebrities that there would be no way to verify his lies.

Julian – Sep 17, 2020

Wow I’m in the Stephen Dorff group and got a message that told me to look Mike up because he wasn’t who he said he is I didn’t believe it at first but when I did and found this page I was shocked how sick to lie about being in a relationship with Stephen for so long this makes me very angry at him and to take people’s money and lie to them how low can you get

Jamie – Sep 16, 2020

Have had similar experiences about Mike. I gave $10 for a signed picture of Stephen and never got it. He claimed the guy printing the pictures lost his shop in a fire from the riots. I started to get really skeptical about him really knowing Stephen, as there were never any pictures of them together. Suddenly, Stephen was on Facebook responding a lot, which was crazy since he said he has no care to be on social media. Mike made it a point on every post to remind us all he knew Stephen and was in a gay relationship with him. Definitely an unhealthy obsession going on. The group is now gone and so is his account. Not sure if I’m blocked or if he deleted it. I requested to follow him on Instagram so I could confront him and suddenly that account is gone too. I’m certain he’s blocked me on there.

Jessie – Sep 16, 2020

Mike is lying and I wish there was a way to tell everyone in the group. They all seemed to be believing every word he said. Check your messages on here!

Spencer – Jul 31, 2020

Mike Iannarelli claims to be best friends with the actor Stephen Dorff and to live with him. He stole the facebook fan group from the founder, because Mike was really convincing in telling the “truth”. He once asked the fans for money if they want an autograph from Stephen. I never found out if anyone sent him money or if they ever received anything. After getting suspicious, because he only posted pics you can find on the internet I asked what this is all about. He got very mean and shortly after he kicked me out of the group and blocked me. He also left the fan group and created a new one (but hopefully this got already deleted, because I reached out to one of Stephen´s real friend). Be careful, this guy is a scam. Mike, if you will ever read this: get your life together, man up and stop pretending to be someone you are not!

Javier – Sep 14, 2020

Okay I will pm you on here. It may not work but at this point we have nothing to lose.

Frank – Sep 14, 2020

I think you should Zigzag, will you be willing to share those members names with me as I remember some also. Maybe we can both contact them and inform them of the proof and the truth? PM me on here?

Cameron – Sep 14, 2020

I was found out and deleted too after my first comment here! He is definitely watching this post! I have the names of some members he seemed close to. I have thought about messaging them and telling them the truth about him. I don’t know if they would believe me though.

Vanessa – Sep 12, 2020

Looks like I’ve been found out! He’s deleted me? Watching are you mike? What’s your deal? Why don’t name and shame me?!

Danielle – Sep 12, 2020

Cupcakes – I do think it’s getting out of hand. I don’t know who to trust either because I’m convinced he has at least 3 profiles that he’s running within the group.

Ronnie – Sep 12, 2020

I’d posted this comment further down
Yes this group is still active as I am a member of it. I’ve been suspicious from the beginning from the very first group. I’m growing increasingly concerned of its recent content and I don’t know who to trust or to turn to in this matter?
Zigzag I’m in the group also, do you not think it’s getting out of hand?

Shawna – Sep 11, 2020

I sent him money for one of those autographs and I never got anything. First I thought it was taking a while because of all the covid stuff having places shut down. But then he closed out that group and started the new one and it was never mentioned again. I’ve been suspicious of him every since. The new group is still there, I’m a member. With the group being hidden noone can find it if you’re not in it. There is a lot that he posts that have raised red flags for me. At first I thought he might be legit but once he scammed me out of the money for the autograph and since I’ve seen some of the questionable things he’s posted since then, I think he’s scamming everyone.

Shanna – Aug 20, 2020

He doesn’t just pretend to be “friends” with Stephen Dorff, he actually goes as far as to insinuate they’re in some sort of gay “relationship” Without just coming out and saying it ! He claims to have lived with Stephen for years! The first group was dismantled because the original admin caught on to his lies. He had and still has a lot of people fooled! He even had Members of Stephens own family believing him for awhile until they figured him out. Then he banned and blocked them from the page. I believe this new group he formed is still up and running but he made it invisible and impossible to find! Wonder why! None of Stephen’s family or real friends are allowed to join. If you paid attention in the first group, which I was a member of from the beginning, he went from saying he had never met Stephen but knew his brother when he lived in Tennessee (also a lie) to his story slowly changing to them being friends their whole lives, to them living together, etc. He never posted pictures of them together, just vague shots he got off the internet of Stephen posing with random faceless people in the background that he would claim were him! It really wasn’t hard to figure out at all that it was all a bunch of bull! Stephen himself is aware as is Stephens family and friends. If the new group is still up, it’s hidden so no one can report it, unless a current member wisens up and sees these scam reports! But it doesn’t seem to do any good bc he just bans and blocks anyone who calls him out or asks too many questions! The most we can do is put him on blast everywhere else and hope he owns up to his deception. Don’t see that happening though! I just feel bad for the fans that actually believe this quack!

Kelli – Aug 19, 2020

@Lzdt Mike you are a liar. And I never wrote something like that, what you just said. Stop being such a silly person XD

Barbara – Aug 04, 2020

Not Mike sorry. Can’t speak for anything else on here, only to this nonsense which me and several others know isn’t true. Sorry LR 2009

Raul – Aug 03, 2020

Who thinks “lzdt” is Mike?

Lance – Aug 01, 2020

Not true Bini Lube. I was in that group, and a few members saw what you did. I even saw you post where you wanted to go and find Stephen in Malibu. When you were called a stalker, which from what I witnessed you came off being, you got mad, so don’t lie about this and make this stuff up, too many people witnessed some of the things you said and did.

Wesley – Jul 28, 2020

Same thing happened to me. I answered his ad of putting all the years he had of GL on two separate hard drives. I sent him $150 via PayPal and he strung me along for over two months.Once I asked for a refund he replied to my message that he dropped them at the post office. He then promptly deleted me from his Facebook group and blocked me on messenger. It was already too late to file a claim. This was also after he bombarded the fb group to raise $600 for a new computer. I also sent him $40 for that. In total he owes me close to $200.

Ivan – Sep 18, 2020

He did the same with me. Then once he got the money a snowstorm hit and then he broke his leg. He also set up a GoFundMe for his aunt who was getting kicked out of her house. Didn’t make anything off it though. He’s pathetic. Get a job. Are we supposed to believe that even if Stephen Dorff WAS gay that he’d be slumming it with a pasty a[censored] loafer like Mike? Please. When I’m bored I use his email to get on Trump email lists. Those b[censored] spam. And he deserves it.

Carolyn – Jul 25, 2020

In January 2019 I send him money via Paypal for Friends because he promised me a DVD full of Guiding Light episodes. In May 19 I asked when he sent the DVDs, because I had nothing reached yet. No replies anymore from him. No DVDs either, now over a year later still nothing

Todd – Jul 24, 2020

In July of 2016 I had been following Mike’s Youtube channel and facebook page when he began to offer making discs of old “Guiding Light” episodes. I reached out to him and messaged I could not afford to pay much but there were certain episodes I would like. We came to agreement I could pay $30 for what I wanted and so it was sent. As the weeks and eventual months went by, I would message him and ask for an ETA on when the discs would be delivered. Each time I was given a different excuse ( his mother was ill, he was ill, he had been busy etc.) , I initially tried to be very understanding but as it reached November of that year and he made promises to me and those on his GL facebook page that he would be sending out the discs very shortly and nothing happened, I grew suspicious. Since Paypal has a limited amount of time to raise a claim about getting a refund or getting what you ordered and it was coming up on that expiration point for me. I chose to open a dispute with Mike explaining that I just wanted what I ordered. His reply to me “You need to close that Paypal claim before I send you anything…Not the way to go about it with me!” He then proceeded to grow increasingly threatening and belligerent with me while speaking with me on PayPal,refusing to do anything until I closed the Paypal claim. At this point, I chose to escalate the claim and cut off contact with Mike, including blocking him on Facebook. My money was refunded but shortly after, he sent me a lengthy email claiming he had spoke with a Guiding Light actor who thought I was in the wrong and that he would be telling everyone that I was to blame for not continuing to post Guiding Light episodes on Youtube.

Cory – Jul 28, 2020

Amanda, it’s been 4 years for me and I’m still pissed! So glad youtube figured him out, but I miss the uploads!

Timothy – Jul 28, 2020

Glad you at least got to report him and got your money back. I was not as fortunate. It’s been months and I’m still pissed.

Summer – Jul 23, 2020

I sent Mike Iannarelli $50.00 in 2016 for a disk of some episodes of the show Guiding Light. He never sent them and strung me along for over a year with excuses. Not an honest guy and so mean about it when I asked for a refund. Told me to get a life, it was only 50 bucks and he was tired of dealing with me.

Kelsey – Jul 19, 2020

Mike Iannarelli is pulling a catfish scam on facebook And probably elsewhere. He has a secret group set up, he is admin, for fans of actor Stephen Dorff. He is pretending he is a friend of the actor’s & his roommate. He has also Set up a secret fake profile Pretending to actually be Stephen Dorff, the actor. The profile is Stephen Hartley.

I have not been harmed exactly but he has kicked me out of the group & blocked me. I guess my questions scared him.

Tamara – Sep 04, 2020

Same experience. I found it so suspicious that Stephen Dorff suddenly became so present in social media and professing love for Mike so openly… I made a comment on the “exclusive” fan page too. Mike and “Stephen” ripped into me and then poof I was banned. That just validated my suspicions. So ridiculous and creepy!

Brooke – Jul 31, 2020

Is his new group still around? I tried to get it closed but he blocked me everywhere.

Kurt – Apr 01, 2020

In September of 2019 I answered an ad off of his YouTube channel for a Labor Day “special” offer. $150 for a hard drive of Guiding Light episodes spanning from 1984 (or close to it)-1997. I didn’t have alot of extra money at the time, so he acted super nice, letting me split up the cost into 2 payments. I gave the second $75 paynent in early October. About a month later I emailed him asking where the hard drive was, and he told me he had ordered it online and it takes a while to download everything. Ok. So I emailed agian in December, then he told me he was so sorry but his computer “broke down”. But he said he was almost finshed. Then in January I emailed agian, stating that if it wasn’t sent soon I wanted my money back.
From that point on he has never replied to any of my emails.

Casey – Feb 29, 2020

On August 2019 I answered an ad posted on a Guiding Light Facebook group about the purchase of a copy of the administrator’s private collection. I gave this man 200 dollars through an Amazon gift card but I never got anything. He banned me from the group and then blocked me on Facebook

Bethany –

Victim Location 15824

Total money lost $411.90

Type of a scam Online Purchase

The seller was advertising that he was selling external hard drives containing episodes of the soap opera Guiding Light. Each hard drive would cost $200. He would be able to fit all episodes in his collection on 2 hard drives. I paid him through PayPal in which he asked that I select the send money to a friend option, so he didn’t get fees taken out on his end. He orders the drive once he received payment. When it arrives, he would load it up with what you want, and send it out to you. The seller stopped communication and I never received the hard drives.

1 thought on “Mike Iannarelli”

  1. He scammed me out of money to produce a Timi Yuro cd. I also paid him for copies of the cd, which I never received. He claimed to have kidney problems, and strung me along on sympathy, then stopped responding to texts, calls and fb messages. He’s a real dirtbag.
