Thomas George of Midwest General Partners LLC contacted us by phone saying that he had an interested party who wanted to purchase our two week membership in Cabo San Lucas. He sent over some paperwork and also said that Richard Cohen from Old Stone House Escrow would be contacting us regarding purchase money being put in escrow. Thomas claims to be a broker # 475127053. If you google it both business’s come up and look very legitimate. We sent the transfer fee through JP Morgan Chase Bank to Banco De Mercantile in Cabo which were also legitimate accounts. They showed us a US Bank Escrow deposit account with our name and membership number on it with the funds deposited. Now they say they need another 22 o/o Mexican tax, or $4200.00 to finish the deal. Just found a complaint on line from someone else that got hit by the same two guys.
