Contacted by "Microsoft Tech Support" wanting to refund fees paid for technical support services previously paid for, that was being refunded ($199) due to "system crash" and department closing. Wanted to send a form for me to fill out, but required me to give them access to my computer, to verify that I used the services. When I questioned why I would need to give access to my system, to fill out a form? And why the caller hadn’t identified me either by name, nor would they give me the name of their company and who I was speaking with, the call was disconnected.
