Type of a scam Identity Theft

Person calls cell phone and indicates that they are from the Microsoft Service Center and receiving alert messages from the home computer. If you are at the home computer, they will ask you to validate your computer identity which would allow them access to ownership of all files and history on the computer. I would assume they are using it for nefarious reasons.

The person usually hangs up when you ask for phone number or address.
