Type of a scam Rental

I saw a listing on craigslist. I emailed and received a very convincing response full of details and very professional photos. I was forwarded a realistic application and was approved. The renter would not speak on the phone because of a health issue. That was my first clue. The second was the urgency of the payment. When it came time to do the payment, I noticed that their PayPal was not approved. It had been marked as Spam and was an international account. I almost sent $2550 in payment. When I asked for photo ID from the owner of the house, it was obvious that it was photoshopped.
