Got a call about a sweepstakes that i entered. never entered a sweepstakes before. stated i won 2.5 million dollars and a new car needed me to go get a vanilla gift card to collect the money. asked if i wanted a private or public delivery. suppose to call him back when i get the gift card around 3pm. stated that he will need to see i.d in order to recieved the funds. already knew my name and address and stated that i will have to show id when the people bring the money to the house.

I work at ****** ************** *** in Marysville Ohio. A guy, Michael Adams, broke into our hotel system. He claims he works for a hotel but he is a hacker! He calls past and future guests. He tells them they’ve been double billed/over charged due to a computer glitch in our system. The reservation was canceled but he can make a new reservation. He needs your credit card information. He talks very professionally and he’s very knowledgeable. He is very conniving. He talks you into giving him your personal credit card/bank number. We have reported him to our corporate office and local police. We filed a report with www.ic3.gov. We wanted to make you aware of this situation. If anyone gets a call from a man asking for your personal information DO NOT give this out, if you want to check your hotel reservation call the hotel directly.
