Type of a scam Healthcare/Medicaid/Medicare
I was called and it was stated this is a medicare benefits call. They asked if I had my new number and did I receive my benefits card also. I told them mo. They proceeded to ask about back shoulder knee and ankle pain offering a free topical medication and tens unit. They asked for my personal info (name,address ,medicare number, etc…) today I received a call from a distraught woman who told me she was being contacted from my phone number in regards to collecting student loan monies. They have spoffed my number and now I am trying to fix this mess. Please do not give any info about Medicare to anyone unless in person.
