Looking to get a pug puppy, found a nicely designed website that offered pugs at too good of a price. Contacted them about available pug, and return email was a gmail account. A security deposit had to be sent by Western Union only. A security deposit was placed but caught the scam in time before the full amount was accepted. I did an initial search on Mercer Pug and got no negative hits. On their website they state they are registered (AKC) as Zam Pugs. When I searched that name, I saw many negative hits regarding SCAM. Too many things just didn’t add up so we feel fortunate they only got the down payment and not the full price. You know the old adage, if it’s too good to be true…
